| VARNA BY NIGHT |
All day in the sun may make you sleepy and long for an early night, or it may make you more energetic when the stars come out!
There is plenty of night life - visit the seafront down the steps from the city centre's main pedestrianised street, which leads you right
onto the beach past all these other attractions - excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops (oh-oh, those cream cakes again!) and nightclubs.
This is a particularly enjoyable area on warm evenings.
When your evening is over, taxis are to be found at all hours so keep a few leva in your pocket after you have enjoyed the food and drink.
We can't begin to name all the restaurants, they are everywhere and all offer excellent food.
Menus are printed in most languages - and if you don't find your own included there are colour pictures showing the dishes offered, with full
description of what they contain.
Try the salads if you are health conscious - you may not be able to eat all they put before you!
In the early evening you may wish to see some of the historic places described under "Daytime in Varna".
The International Film Festival in August each year offers excellent entertainment each evening - look for posters advertising the events.
In addition the Drama Theatre (Dramatichen Teatur) is home for many local and national theatre productions, operas and symphony concerts.
